The Regeneration Of Civilisation: being the Moorhouse lectures delivered in Melbourne, November 1942 (1942) By E. H. Burgmann
Ernest Henry Burgmann (1885-1967), Anglican bishop and social critic, was born on 9 May 1885 at Lansdowne, near Taree, New South Wales.
World War II catapulted Burgmann into new prominence as president of the Australia-Soviet Friendship League. He was criticized by conservatives for his support of the Russian alliance and for his endorsement of the Federal Labor government's reconstruction strategies.
This book contains a series of lectures on the topic of building peace in society after WWII.
