William Heath Robinson (1872 ? 1944) was an English cartoonist and illustrator best known for drawings of ridiculously complicated machines for achieving simple objectives.
A good example of the fantastic cartoon and caricature work by the famous book illustrator. One of several wartime studies depicting fantastic contraptions and principally satirising the Germans.
