This is the illustrated history of the Waffen-SS 24. Waffen SS-Gebirgs (Karstjager) division, covering their engagements against partisans in Slovenia and Northern Italy. Detailing the guerrilla warfare between the Germans and the partisans, the Karstjager mountain division was composed mainly of Austrian, Italian, and Spanish soldiers.
